Key Features of a Democracy and System Change Initiatives at the upcoming General Election 6/10/24

Sri Lanka is facing a general election within six weeks. This discussion was intended to educate voters on how they can contribute to electing fair and just politicians to the parliament, who will be more dedicated to upholding democracy, which is our fundamental requirement at present. Furthermore, there were discussions on the common ground that the #System Change Peramuna may share and collaborate with the ‘Jathika Sanwardhana Peramuna’ (symbol – coconut), a registered political party, in this general election to promote a strong independent voice within the parliamentary opposition through the difficult but only route — the general election.
